Sealed Ink Cup System

The Service Tectonics Sealed Ink Cup System can be adapted to many applications on a variety of Pad Printing Machinery. Shown here is our Model PAP 802 Pat-A-Print Machine with a Single Color Sealed Ink Container.

Features of the Model PAP 902 Pat-A-Print Machine:

• The Sealed Ink Container minimizes solvent evaporation which is not only environmentally attractive, but also minimizes ink viscosity change.

• This system is adaptable to multicolor units, as well as the single color applications.

• This system is adaptable to be retro-fit on old STI equipment, as well as many other brands.

• This simple system eliminates the doctor blade assembly and spreader bar, replacing it with the ink cup that is self-doctoring.

802 with Rotary and Auto Eject

The Model 802 pad printer with rotary table and pick and place unloader is another automated pad printing system from STI.

Features:

• Three inch sealed ink cup system

• Interchangable dial plates with interchangable grippers for the unloader.

• PLC controls allow for many different programs

• The auto unloader, which drops the parts onto a drying conveyor, lets the operator get maximum speed out of the process.

This machine was designed and built in our Adrian, MI plant.

805C with Automatic Part Flipover

Features:

• Model 805C pad printer with automatic flame treater. It flame treats both sides of a PP part, pad prints both sides, then dries both sides.

• This machine can automatically pad print two sides of this part at production speeds in excess of 1000 parts per hour.

Model 812 with Corona Treater

The Model 812 is the new innovative pad printing machine by Service Tectonics.

Features:

• Incorporates a 4 station Camco Rotary Table, 2 color system and Corona Treater for polypropylene parts

• Allows one color printing on two parts at a time or two different colors on two parts at a time.

• The Corona Treater is adaptable for various size parts.

• The PLC controls allow the machine to be run with several different programs.

• Safety guarding is provided for operator safety and the machine is capable of running up to 1500 parts per hour.

Special 3 Color with Shuttle

Features:

• Can print up to three colors on large parts

• The PLC controls allow each color to be hit up to four times.

• The part is printed in station one and then shuttled to the next station and dried in between.

• The system is capable of printing a 6" X 8" print area in the three colors.

• A light curtain guard protects the operator and heated blowers help production speeds by drying the ink between stations.

Large 2 Color with Up to 16" Diameter

Print Area

Features of this large two color pad printing machine:

1. Prints wheels from 12 " diameter to 16" diameter in two colors.

2. The clichés are etched with all of the circles so the only change needed are the pads to go from small, 12" diameter, to the large 16" diameter.

3. The nesting fixtures are built to center each wheel automatically, so there is no change between wheels.

4. The covered inkwells minimize solvent evaporation.

5. Production speeds are 400-500 two color wheels per hour.

6. Since the pads are dowel pinned in position and there is no change of clichés or nests, changeover time to go from one size wheel to another is a matter of minutes
